“In our medical office,Debi and Mark painted wonderful children's murals of warmth and laughter for patients young and old.” Dr. David and Edie Amran About Us Debi Pople, a native Houstonian, has created art all of her life. Even as a young child, she knew she always wanted to be an artist. Debi attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts here in Houston. She then went on to the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago before graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art Education degree from Houston Baptist University. After teaching elementary school art for three years, Debi began painting murals and faux finishes in 1992. Although she did not advertise until recently, her talents and reputation became well-known throughout the Greater Houston area. As a result, she has been commissioned for both commercial and residential projects. Debi transforms any room or surface into a work of art, and her talent and creativity make each project truly unique. "He is not only my husband, my painting partner, and my soul mate...he is my best friend."   The artistic genes have certainly spread to both Jordan (13) and Jessie (10). Both children have won art awards with their work going as far as state and national competitions. This is truly a family of artists!
